Banana chain in Tambacounda, Senegal: sustainable livelihood analysis and chain analysis
In Senegal, VECO focuses on the development of three agricultural chains: fonio, sesame and banana. At the start of its new 6-year programme, VECO Senegal carried out a livelihood analysis and analysis of the banana chain. This was done in partnership with APROVAG (the Farmers’ Association in the Valley of the Gambia river) in the area of Tambacounda.
